What is it?
An operation to reduce the size of the male breasts.
Why have it done?
The male breasts may appear large and saggy after a man has lost weight. Or breast tissue grows because of a condition called gynecomastia, which is caused by certain medications and medical conditions. Cannabis and anabolic steroid use can also have this effect.
What happens?
Under genera anaesthetic, a small cut is made either under the arm or around the dark outer skin of the nipple through which excess fat and tissue is removed.
