Pectoral Implants

What are they?

Chest implants to change shape and size so a man appears well-toned.

Why have it done?

Despite having tried to "beef up", an individual may be unhappy with his chest size and shape.

The operation can also be used to correct chest deformity that has arisen through growth and development problems or injury.

What happens?

Under general anaesthetic, a cut is made in the armpit and a cavity created under the chest muscle where a silicone implant can be inserted.

Bicep / Tricep Implants

What are they?

Implants to increase the size and fullness of the upper arms and create the appearance of good muscle tone.

Why have it done?

Despite working out, a man may be dissatisfied with the size and shape of his upper arms. It may also be used following upper arm injury to create a normal appearance.

What happens?

Under light sedation or general anaesthetic, a cut is made at the top of the armpit.A silicone implant is inserted through the cut between muscle and fat.

How much does it cost?

The surgery is not common, but the price is approximately £3,000.

Hair Transplant (Micro-Grafting)

What is it?

The relocation of permanent hair to thinning and balding areas of the scalp to create a fuller head of hair.

Why have it done?

Baldness is something that causes many men great anxiety and loss of self-confidence and self-esteem.

What happens?

Hair is transplanted from the lower back and sides of the head into tiny punctures in the skin of the scalp where hair coverage is thin or absent.
